The KODAK SCANMATE i1120 Scanner is ready to scan right out of the box, with
one simple computer connection and intuitive bundled software. With the Smart
Touch feature, you can easily preprogram up to nine scanning functions, along
with the file formats you need them in (PDF, TIFF, JPEG, RTF, BMP and
searchable PDF). Scan anything from a business card to documents up to 86 cm
(34 in.) long, in color, grayscale, black and white, one-sided or two. Even
when they’re imperfect, Perfect Page image processing technology can make
scanned images look better than the originals. This robust desktop scanner

This scanner contains non-volatile storage (NVRAM), and volatile
memory (SDRAM).
Volatile memory (DDR2) is used to store customer image data. It is
erased when the device is turned off.
Non-volatile memory (EEPROM) is used to store program data, scanner
settings, and scanner calibration data. No customer image data is
stored in non-volatile memory.
The only scanner settings stored persistently are the Energy Star
settings. No other customer data is stored in the non-volatile
memory.
NOTE: The image data is passed to a PC which has
its own ability to store images and information. The customer will also
need to consider what precautions must be taken to secure the data on
the PC.
