Kodak S5210 Scanner
The Kodak S5210 is available at ScannerOne. It is the fastest model of the KODAK S5000 Series, the production line Kodak Alaris introduced to replace the Kodak i5000 Series, and it steps in for the 210 ppm Kodak i5850 and i5850S.
Built for nonstop, high-volume operation, the S5210 pairs a 750-sheet feeder with continuous feeding and automatic separation so operators can prepare the next batch while the scanner runs. Next-generation Dynamic Flow Technology and Tri-Stream output deliver black-and-white, grayscale and color images from a single pass – over 1,200 images per minute – even at higher resolutions. Best-in-class metal detection spots stray staples and paper clips, and Intelligent Document Protection listens for potential document damage and pauses scanning before documents or the transport are harmed. Adjustable roller pressure, a fragile document mode and a straight-through paper path handle thick, thin or damaged media. The 7.5-inch color touchscreen lets operators choose job profiles, resolve feeding issues and check device status with a swipe and a tap, and built-in simple sorting routes patch sheets, custom-length documents and multifed sheets to the rear exit tray without slowing the scanner down. The S5210 sits on a floor-standing console with motorized height adjustment (up to 240 mm / 9.5 in.) so operators can set a comfortable working height, and FADGI 3-Star and Modern Textual Records (MTR) image modes make it ready for archival digitization projects.
